CIVILIZATION – Our Life in Focus

Progress and freedoms, conventions and crises: never before have so many humans inhabited the Earth at the same time. Despite our vastly different lifestyles, certain key events, inventions, and experiences connect us – whether consciously or unconsciously. Over 100 international photographers have created a multifaceted portrait of the past 30 years through around 250 images. The result is a familiar yet surprising snapshot of our civilization, told in the language of photography.
